When, going the road 221 south-west from Gdansk, you car starts to slower after 20 km, it means that your are in Przywidz Commune. When situated in the neighbourhood of Przywidz Kaszubski Park Krajobrazowy, Szymbark Hills, with Wieżyca, is called Kaszuby's Switzerland, then our comunne can be called Kaszuby's Bavaria. As an old Kaszuby's legend says, God created Kaszuby at the very end and that's why he gave them all the best. So Kaszuby have:
- forests, which in our commune occupy 40% of terrain
- lakes - we have six
- hills - one behind the every corner and the highest is 271.4 m asl
- rivers - in our commune two and a half - Wietcisa and Reknica, and the source of Klodawa.

As you can see, Przywidz commune is situated in Kaszuby, what confirm also 19th and 20th century explorers, such as Florian Feynowa or German linguist Friedrich Lorentz. Both convince that Przywidz commune is the southern part of Kaszuby.

Although there are no bears walking on our hills, you can meet here deers, roes or hares. Those who are more persistent, can see black tork, heron or badger mink. In the early morning you can hear the sweeps' warble. For sure you will meet swans, maybe among them there will be the one from our crest. When you ask him, maybe he will tell you the story of Przywidz and its neighbourhood. And there is a lot to listen to.
